Syria Museums

Although Syria is a country that is rich in history and archaeology, museums in Syria also cover a variety of themes which include: children's heritage and science, folklore, jewelry, fine arts, military memorabilia, popular traditions, post and communications, coins, marine science, school books, and religious cultures. 

Damascus has the greatest number of museums, but there are several other museums, in other tourist attractive centers, such as Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Latakia, Palmyra, Idleb, Bosra, Apamea, Ras Shamra, Tell Harir and Tell Mardikh, only to name a few.
